Ok, so many of you know that we have been trying to get pregnant for the past year. I've been doing fertility treatments since last September and the first three didn't take. The fourth try was half a success but the drug I needed to take by injection was too late getting to us from the pharmacy. Well, today I went in for what is usually my first of three or four ultrasounds and guess what we found? Three egg follicles ready for ovulation! I know that sounds kind of personal, but I'm so excited I had to share with everyone!! So, I got a shot and now we're ready to make a baby:) Hopefully just one baby, but if there ends up being two or three, so be it. I am so happy!! I'll take a blood test in two weeks to see if everything worked and then, maybe, hopefully, prayerfully, we'll have some really great news.
Also, thank you, thank you, thank you for everyone that has been praying for us. Keep it up:)

Sisters ONLY

We held our second Sisters Only reunion last weekend, what a blast! We rented our grandparents old cabin up at Crestline, it's the cabin we grew up knowing as Grandma and Grandpa's house. We spent a day at Knott's Berry Farm riding every single roller coaster, even the terrible old wooden one (I was pretty sure I was going to die!), and the next day we spent at the beach boogie boarding and getting sun burnt. We had a really great time, I wish we lived closer so we could hang out together more often. I talk to my sisters more than to anyone else, except for Dustin, but that's just because he lives in the same house. I love each one of them and miss them now, but it was great while it lasted. This tradition is relatively new, we had one two years ago and plan to hold them every other year as Lewis-Suggs family reunions will be held every other opposite year. Love you Lori, Kari, Christi, Traci and Jodi!!!

SUPER baby!
Yesterday Damen was "helping" me fold laundry when he decided it was time for some much needed dress up. This was his superhero disguise; my flesh colored slip, and an eye patch. He thought it was great!

Then he wanted to go for a ride so he climbed into the empty laundry hamper and rocked around in it until he fell out, then did it again.

Kids are such great entertainment!

Happy Birhdays!
SO much to Celebrate!
Happy Mothers Day to everyone! Being a Mother, Aunt, Grandmother, babysitter, every woman has the opportunity to touch the life of a child for good. So thank you! I wish I could list everyone, other than my dear old mom, who has been an influence for good in my life.
To name a few; Tammy, the best babysitter ever! She taught me how to have fun when caring for children, and how to enjoy them. Sharon Lees, my second in command mommy, she is always a great example of love and compassion. Shellee Lewis, she continues to teach me about the tender joys of being a mother. My grandmothers, they were both so good at spoiling us and loving us, and reminding me where I came from. Tiffany Cheeseman, how much I have learned from her loving example of what a caring mother is. Kelly Lewis, for showing me the importance of patience with children.
Now that I've reached an age in my life where most of my friends and family have children, I have realized how important a good example is to a child. Again, thank you to my friends, sisters( all 11 of them!), grandmothers, mother in law, and of course to my mother for being wonderful examples for me.

Lose WHAT?
So I had a doctors appt the other day and he said that my Triglycerides are sort of high. Ok, whatever that means, I don't really know. He said I should try to lose some weight and to stay away from Carbs, like pasta, rice, potatoes, that sort of thing. Really, I say, does that include cookies, brownies, and cakes? Because that's really where my weakness lies. Of course those things are included. Hmmmm, I thought about it and decided that I could do this, but that Saturday would be my eat what you want day. And I did. Then on Sunday we went to a party, wouldn't it be rude to pass up dessert? Which was great, just an assortment of cookies and brownies, not kidding. I was doing really good today when Dustin got sick, sad I know. He needed orange juice, so I ran to the store at 10pm to get him some and wouldn't you know it, the store also carried Turtle Chex Mix (BTW thanks Lori:) I don't know what it looks like to pass up a good thing so I bought a bag. I actually poured myself a "small" bowl of it and as I walked over to the computer to do this, I licked up a piece out of the bowl, really I couldn't contain myself a second longer!
The doctor asked me before I left if I needed to see a nutritionist, I told him, no, I think I can handle it:)
